2008 - 2009

Our famous “Drama In The Classroom” program has been totally reworked. Following the guidelines set out by the Ministry of Education, each workshop is structured to allow hands-on / active learning. Report card evaluations are based on a standard rubric for each element and report comments are also provided for each level. Our drama instructors are all skilled professional teachers trained in the Imagination Works way of “learning through fun”.

 

Back by popular demand this year is “B-The Movie”, an entertaining two hour presentation on movie making for your school’s junior division. Students will learn about how a movie is made by helping complete various elements of a humorous B-Movie (acting, directing, filming, green-screen compositing, sound recording, sound effects & foley). Your completed film is yours to keep and will be available online to download securely with your school’s password.

Many of you may not be aware of the Professional Recording capibilities we have. One of the additional services we can provide for a school is to come in and record your school choir or band or any performance really. These recordings can be a great source of fundraising or simply a great archive for your school’s history books.
